Hi Everyone. I finally got some new things up on my website. I
took a class with Jennifer Geldard a few week's ago and it was great. She
has some really interesting techniques and her beads are fabulous. We had
so much fun in class. here are a few pictures of us hard at work.
That's Jennifer on the right showing Judy Amy a technique. The second picture is of Heidi, Karen and others working on a hollow vessel.
There are a few of the type of beads she taught us up on the website now. Lots of new things to try, now to find the time. I will be selling at the Bead Society of Orange County show at the Bowers Museum on April 26 and at the LA Bead Society show at the Veterans auditorium in Culver City on April 27th. I have put links to each of these shows below. I hope you can stop by to see me and all the new beads I'll have available. Have a great week and hope to see you at the end of the month. LINKS:

I've taken a couple more classes. In August I took Kim Fields
class on flowers. Kim is an amazing artist and her attention to detail is
incredible. She is a very patient teacher and we all learned so much.
Earlier this month (December) I took a class with Browen Heilman and she showed us how to make her painted beads. Browen is so much fun. Just a really neat lady. To make a painted bead is a multi-step process. Now I understand why some of her beads are priced as they are. She is a wonderful artist and so can paint her amazing designs freehand which I really admire. I love the way she looks at life. Here are a couple of class pictures:
Here are a couple of necklaces that I made with two of my class beads; I********************8 |
